Ladies of the press: Zine-making

Live Press brings the theatre into zine-making, merging performance art and publishing along with colourful pens and a sprinkle of glitter. Armed with a simple (but theatrical) desktop publishing setup onsite, the Ladies of the Press will be inviting fellow exhibitors and the audience alike to participate in a live, three day zine making extravaganza, documenting the festival through photos, interviews, submitted artwork that will be designed, printed and distributed onsite at the end of each day. Ana Čavić (Foča, ex-Yougoslavia) and Renée O’Drobinak (Tokyo, Japan) are a performative publishing duo that re-images the role of the publisher into a theatrical persona.
