Oscar Martin
The Kiblix 2013 resident artist Oscar Martin will be staying in Maribor until 20 November 2013. During the course of the festival he will present his Open Lab workshop, which is scheduled to continue on November 18. The number of participants is limited to 10 persons.
Theory and practice experimental lab about emergent, stochastic and chaotic systems and generative audio and video for art installations and performances. The lab is a way to open the processes and techniques used in the development of the sound and light installation {RdEs}(a project in residency). In the lab we are going to learn about tools like pure data and arduino and the participants will be developing their own prototypes. The prototypes will be shown at the end of the lab.

Biography
Oscar Martin [Noish] Experimental artist and independent researcher and programmer working in the fields of sound art, installations, interactive and generative systems, performances and net radioart. A firm opensource advocate, Martín is also behind the MetaminaFNR streaming project, a generative on-line radio, and editor of UrsonateFanzine, a publication focused on the Spanish experimental sound and music scene. He implements independents workshops about puredata, arduino and others FLOSS tools.
